Memories and Reflections

Book of Intentions ~ Kelly Kilmer

Between taking good care of clients, getting a new computer up and running, and creating this blog, I have signed up for Kelly Kilmers Memories and Reflections online class. Big fun for sure creating two unique journals.  I am a huge fan of Kellys innovative style and work. If you have never taken a class with Kelly you don't know what you are missing. I cant wait to get started.

The World is coming to Santa Fe

I can wish all I like for smaller crowds but I will not find them at The Santa Fe International Folk Art Market this weekend. It is the largest international folk art market in the world, and the unseasonably cooler weather is sure to draw record crowds this year. This At the Market video is a sneak peak of this truly amazing gathering of artisans from around the world.

I will be posting my photos soon...

This weekend art lovers form all over the world descend on Santa Fe for not one but two incredible art happenings. In addition to The Folk Art Market, SOFA West opened Wednesday night and runs all weekend. I joined the throngs of locals and out of towners in attendance opening night. The art and people watching was superb. I am hoping to return over the weekend when the crowds may have thinned out a bit. Jan Hulling mind blowing bead work pieces where one of my quirky and colorful favorites.
